Since its creation Lector Vision has focused its activity on the development of systems based on artificial vision, optical character recognition (OCR) solutions and advanced image processing for a wide range of applications and systems, specializing in automatic license plate reading for traffic control vehicles and applications derived therefrom.
Lector Visión participated together with RBZ ROBOT DESIGN, S.L. in the development of the R & D project “DEVELOPMENT OF HW MODULE OF SYNCHRONIZED CMOS SENSOR CAPTURE THROUGH FPGA”, whose objective was to provide our company with a product that allows to have high-quality images synchronized for license plate reading, with flexibility of adapt very quickly to new CMOS sensor technologies and at a very low cost.
The project has been co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Research and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), to encourage the use of innovative services in small businesses (“Check Innovation” Program), within the Community’s operational program of Madrid for the period 2014-2020.
Lector Vision participates together with the University Center of the Defense of Zaragoza in the R & D project “TRAFFICGUARD” whose objective is the development of complex algorithms based on artificial vision in order to carry out efficient counting and classification of vehicles by types (motorcycles, cars and trucks / buses) in adverse weather conditions. The project has allowed the creation of a very advanced product that is capable of overcoming the problems presented by other equipment already existing in the market.
To develop it, we have the support of the Center for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI), the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
