ControlCar is a vehicle-mounted license plate reading system designed to perform police functions more efficiently and with greater precision.

The system is controlled by a tablet that allows the operator to configure the operating mode and turn the camera readings on or off, monitor the device in real time, view the data and images captured by the equipment, perform vehicle searches, and obtain vehicle alarms of police interest, either from local lists or from the DGT's ATEX service.

    • FEATURES

    ControlCar is an auditable system. It includes significant technological improvements in its equipment, as well as in communication and information management. Located on a tripod, it provides valuable information about the approaching vehicle.

    • Immediate notification of real-time alerts

      Whether in static or dynamic mode, its cameras capture license plates on roads, collecting plates from parked or moving vehicles (depending on the orientation the operator gives the camera).

      Its powerful recognition engine allows it to achieve over 95% optimal capture rates. The information is compared in real time with databases to identify vehicles with irregularities, providing immediate alerts to the operator. All detections include approximate GPS positioning.

    • Possibility of sanctioning vehicles

      Depending on the operating mode selected by the operator, vehicle sanction proposals can be made in PROHIBITED mode (e.g., no double parking) or in TIME-LIMITED mode (e.g., no parking in loading and unloading bays exceeding the maximum permitted time of 20 minutes). These proposals can be validated or invalidated by the operator easily and intuitively in the application, and can be exported manually or automatically.

    • Query and search vehicle history

      It allows you to perform capture searches in an intuitive and simple way, allowing you to apply different filters depending on the available data. Search results can be exported in CSV format for further processing.

    • Unified and secure management

      From a single wireless device and through the ANPR Web Manager platform, you can connect to your ControlCar equipment to monitor operations, validate violations, and perform queries against local or external databases (such as ATEX services).

      The software has two levels of access based on user profile (Administrator, Operator) with the ability to assign individual permissions to safeguard and protect the collected information.

  • Smart consumption

    ControlCar incorporates a power supply system that allows you to optimize your consumption by monitoring the battery's charge status. Based on these parameters, the system automatically shuts down, increasing battery capacity and facilitating energy savings. The battery can be recharged while the unit is running using a cigarette lighter cable or AC adapter, or off-board using a 230V AC charger.

  • Fleet management

    Thanks to the system's GPS, it's possible to view and consult an interactive map of the zones and locations at the time the vehicle has traveled through.

  • Interoperability

    Thanks to the Anpr Web Manager application, you can use one or more different ControlCar devices from a single tablet. It also allows you to monitor and operate other types of devices provided by Tradesegur, such as the TruCam II speed camera.

    All information can be sent to a TCC system, where centralized management of this equipment's information can be achieved, such as viewing the captures made by the equipment, managing police interest lists, or providing dashboards for equipment usage.
