Kuwait International Airport is the country’s main airport and with its 5 operating terminals it has a transit of 15 million passengers per year.

The improvement plan put in place included, among other notable aspects, the automation and modernization of the parking control.

CHALLENGE:

 More than 20,000 transits without an automated system caused long queues at entrances and exits with long waiting times.

 Detection and reading of vehicle license plates was a key aspect to improve due to weather conditions and license plate status.

 Reading with the system running was not efficient (91%), so there is a need to change to an automatic license plate detection and reading model, thus increasing the reliability percentage.

One of the shopping centers in Madrid with the largest influx of people. It has a parking for 3,000 seats and daily traffic estimates of up to 20,000 events.

CHALLENGE:

 Parking is necessary for the Shopping Center due to its location in a fully developed urban area where surface parking is very scarce.

 The facility had an outdated access and payment control system and a license plate reading system that did not provide the desired levels of reliability.

 This initial situation made user access too slow and management complicated.

As a result of the above problems, a reliable solution for automatic plate reading and automatic contactless access for users were the needs to be covered.

Due to the increasing popularity of Moraig Cove and its status as a Protected Area, the Town Hall of Poble Nou de Benitatxell saw the need to regulate access to this cove. Up until now, vehicles parked without any control, sometimes even encroaching on the sand itself.
